Alaska Airlines Infants Policy
Traveling with the kids can be more fun. During the travel, we suggest you keep small comfort things in your carry-on bag, such as small snacks, a security blanket, a favorite pillow, small toys, coloring books and crayons, and small electronic devices. We also suggest, consulting with your baby doctor if you are traveling with your infants via plane.
- Children below 2 years (24 months), are not required to have their own seat, but you need to inform Alaska Airlines that they will be traveling with a lap infant.
- One lap child allowed per adult. For instance, if one adult travels with 2 infants who are below 2 years, then the adult traveler has to purchase a seat for each additional infant.
- Travelers may also purchase a seat for their infant if they have the proper child restraint device.

Child-restraint systems are not permitted in:

Junior Jetsetters will receive the following benefits:
- Unaccompanied child guest has to wear a lanyard and a wristband so that they can easily be recognized by Alaska Airlines as Junior Jetsetter.
- Unaccompanied child guests will get early boarding to get a comfortable seat.

- Alaska Airlines limits the number of unaccompanied child guests for safety and security.
